At last,the much-anticipated new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have been released at an event in San Francisco on 7th of september,2016 .

 After selling a record one billion iPhones, Apple says that the next generation of smartphones are better and brighter than any of their predecessors. Here’s what you need to know about the new devices.

1. THE NEW CAMERA WILL MAKE YOUR #FOODSTAGRAM EVEN BETTER.

An upgraded sensor combined with a brighter quad-LED flash promises clearer low-light photos on the iPhone 7, meaning that it will be even easier to get that quality 'gram in a dark restaurant. The real upgrades, though, come on the iPhone 7 Plus, which features two lenses for a 2x optical zoom that preserves the quality of the image. As for those selfies, a new feature that will be available in a software update later this year mimics the shallow depth of field of a DSLR camera, making the subject crystal clear and blurring the background of the photo.

2. YOU NO LONGER NEED TO WORRY ABOUT DROPPING YOUR PHONE IN THE POOL.

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are water- and dust-resistant with an IP67 protection standard, which means they can handle one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

3. IT COMES IN SHINY NEW SHADES.

The new phones will be available in a jet-black, high-gloss finish, as well as a black matte, gold, silver, and rose gold finishes.

4. YOU PROBABLYWON'T NEED THAT MASSIVE EXTERNAL BATTERY ANY LONGER.

The iPhone 7 Plus promises to add one hour to the battery life of the iPhone 6s Plus, while the 7 will add an additional two hours to the iPhone 6s.

5. THE HOME BUTTON IS SMARTER THAN EVER.

A new force-sensitive home button (rather than mechanical) can judge the amount of pressure that a user applies and act accordingly.

The new screen makes colors appear more vivid, while a new Instagram filter will make colors pop “in a way we haven’t seen before.”

7. BID FAREWELL TO THE HEADPHONE JACK.

The new iPhone 7 will no longer have a place to insert your classic earbuds. An adapter will fit headphones into the Lightning port, but if you go for Apple’s new wireless EarPods for $159 (available late October; apple.com), you won’t need to plug your headphones in at all.

The 16GB iPhone is no longer. Both models start at 32 GB, and will also be available in 128 and 256 GB versions.

The iPhone 7 will start at $649, while the 7 Plus runs from $769.Pre-orders begin on Sept. 9, and the phones will start shipping out Sept. 16.
